Follow the below steps to control how your site accounts for Daylight Saving Time.
- Admin Tab -> Site Settings (located in the "Options" category/section of the sidebar)
- One of the final settings on the Site Settings page is labeled "Account for Daylight Saving Time". This is a checkbox that allows you to specify (for the entire site) how you want hours calculated when a shift traverses a "Spring-Forward" or "Fall-Back" time.
- If checked, a night shift worker during "spring forward" will be credited with 1 fewer hours worked, and a night shift worker during "fall back" will be credited with 1 additional hour worked.
If not checked, daylight saving time will have no effect on the hours calculations.
After checking or un-checking this checkbox, please allow 24 hours for all changes to your hours bank calculations to take effect.
